I love these reels, and did so 25 years ago. I’m amazed that these reels are relevant more so today than then.

Works perfectly to balance a longer 4 or 5 wt, or great for a 6-8wt 9’ rod. Ample drag, just works.

I found one last year for my 4wt trout Spey. Absolutely completed the kit!!! I love the simplicity and precision. Glad to see a run of the originals making a show. If you can make to order no point in discounting anything. They will sell. Thanks Lamson. Joshua Legters. Redmond OR

I've been a fly angler for 40 plus years. I am a proud owner of 2 of the original run of these fine reels, marked "Waterworks" on the frame instead of U.L.A. They are on my 5wt and 6wt Winston Rods. I've had them 20+ years and they have preformed perfectly from Alaska to New Zealand to Patagonia. These are the reels that sold me on the Waterworks-Lamson brand. You cannot go wrong with this model. I may have to buy a one of the U.L.A. Purists to put on my favorite Euro-Nymph rod. Thanks guys these are truly classics.
