Purchased the -7+ for my 8wt. I've put bass bug on one spool and a sink tip on another. Love the reel. You can spin up quite a bit of line fast palming the spool. Drag is nice and doesn't take much adjustment. Clicking noise is just right. The dark blue color pairs well with the TFO pro. I don't see myself purchasing any other reels than more Liquids so long as they stay this great.

The drag is wonderful. I would recommend that the loosest setting be a little looser. It does not let the reel spin freely, and I feel that it takes a little too much to pull off extra line with non-casting hand. I wish that the loosest setting were a little looser.

I purchased the -7+ 3-pack Liquid S for my 8 wt rod and will be outfitting some of my other rods with a similar setup. I netted a respectable 18-inch smallie last night and the drag performed wonderfully. Super easy to swap spools and have the right line at the right time now. Great value! I've been hearing about these reels and finally took the plunge. No regrets whatsoever, other than wishing I had done it sooner! Honestly, I prefer this over my Hydros reels even without considering price.
